ART Club Dates for spring 2008

The spring art pictures are from "You can be an Artist just like Me!" I created this program two years ago. The fourth grade students, once a month, work with a kindergarten class and teach them the skills that they learned from the month. The Fourth grade students taught the kindergarten students about low and high relief by creating a butterfly with tissue paper and pipe cleaners. It is amazing to see 40 children in one room working together with a volume of less then 2! I am so proud of our children, they are amazing Artists!

Art News at A.M.J.  The kindergarten students all the way to 4th grade worked for months on their class canvas!  The canvases will be up for auction at the family dance on February 15!  We hope to see you there!
