Dear Parents,
A review of the impact of summer reading found that children can lose up to 60% of their skill over a two-month vacation. Encourage and help your child maintain their reading gains by visiting the library or bookstore and read this summer. Children who read during the summer are better prepared when school resumes in the fall. Here are some suggested titles your child may enjoy.
