The Course:
There will be three start groups: Elite (8:00 a.m. start), Open Male (8:05 a.m. start), and Open Female (8:10 a.m. start). Starting “Cross Country” style at the Argonne Family Park in Waterfall Glen, the course quickly enters Waterfall Glen’s crushed limestone, scenic, clockwise Main Loop. Just before Mile 3 is “Big Bertha,” offering a 125 foot climb in a half-mile. Can you say “Lactic Acid”?! Split times will be called out at Miles 2, 4, 6, & 8. Water Stations will be located about every two miles. A mark on the path at 9.5 miles lets you know when to start your kick. You’ll soon hear the music at the Finish back in the Park. Congratulations!
