The Burr Ridge CCSD 180 Board of Education named Burr Ridge resident Carol Fawcett as a member of the Board of Education at their May 19, 2025 meeting.
Ms. Fawcett has been a resident of Burr Ridge for twenty-eight years and is a retired teacher. Ms. Fawcett was an Itinerant Teacher, working in ten different and diverse school districts educating students ranging from preschool age to those in adult transition programs in deaf education programs.
Ms. Fawcett will fill the vacancy expiring seat of board member Ms. Antionette Treadway. Ms. Treadway has served on the Board since 2023.
Ms. Fawcett will serve on the Board from the date of appointment to April, 2027.
