State Releases School Report Cards for 2024-25 School Year
October 31, 2025
Dear Burr Ridge 180 School Community,
The Illinois State Board of Education has released the annual Illinois Report Card at www.illinoisreportcard.com. The Report Card contains school performance data from the 2024-25 school year.
Schools are more than test scores. They are a home away from home for our students and staff. Our schools focus not only on academic success but also on caring for the whole child.
On our 2025 Report Card, we are especially proud to see and celebrate the many improvements in student attendance and English/Language Arts resulting in a Commendable summative designation for both of our district schools.
These results reflect your efforts as our partners in your child's education to be sure that students are at school and our staff's commitment to creating a caring school environment for every child, every day.
This year, the Illinois State Board of Education has recalibrated its benchmarks for proficiency and established new unified performance levels for all state assessments. You can learn more about this change at this webpage: www.isbe.net.
While we are happy to celebrate our many successes this year, we know there is room for us to grow and we are committed to engaging in continuous school improvement as reflected in our commitment to our District Goals announced in May of this year and also available on our district website.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to any of our building principals.
Sincerely,
Tom Schneider
Interim Superintendent
