In our Second Step lessons for social-emotional learning, students have been learning about "Kindness". Our kindergarten class then created "love monsters" based on the book by Rachel Bright and wrote a way that they can be kind friends to others.




Last Friday, our 3rd and 4th grade students were the lucky recipients of literacy kits, courtesy of Linde. Employees at Linde sponsored and created the kits in honor of Martin a Luther King Jr. Day.



The third grade Wax Museum celebrating Black History Month was a huge success! We appreciate all the families who spent the evening listening to speeches and supporting our students!










Burr Ridge Girl Scouts had an amazing field trip to Second City and then to Culver's for lunch! Girls participated in many small group activities.

5th graders enjoyed getting a Colonial education today in Social Studies!




Kindergartners had fun celebrating the 100th day of school! They worked hard on their projects and enjoyed showing them off in the parade.



Congratulations to 8th grader Ashton Cole on his official commitment to St. Laurence High School! Ashton, your hard work and dedication have paid off, and we couldn't be prouder to see you take this next step in your athletic and academic journey. Third Grade finished Module 2 of their reading curriculum and they are ready to begin their new Unit, Fight for What's Right!

6th grade STEAM class made paper ball runs. They wanted their ping pong ball to roll down the ramp the slowest. Everyone did a great job!
