Pre-k Is learning about Buildings! We know that a tall building is called a Skyscraper! We used popsicle sticks to make our own tall buildings!

3rd grade students are working hard on their wax museum art display boards! What a great start 3rd grade! I am proud of our AMJ Artists!




Starting off the new year by graphing ordered pairs on a coordinate plane to form some beautiful snowflakes!

Our Pre-K classroom tied for first place for our hallway Decorations in December. We shared our pizza party with all of Pre-K. December was an exciting month. We are looking forward to more adventures in January as we continue making box creations and learn about buildings.







1st Semester Ends on Friday, January 9th.
Students will be taking their WINTER i-Ready in Reading and Math the week of January 12.

At the December BOE meeting the Board recognized three students who were named "All District Musicians" at the IMEA District 1 Band and Choir competition. Congratulations Sam, Landon and Starri!


The Burr Ridge Girl Scout Troops went to Lincoln Park to a shelter called Care for Friends to prepare and serve lunch. The girls also helped wrap gifts, help organize donations, organize the pantry, and clean up after lunch was served. The girls did a great job!

7th grade students in Mrs. Carmignani's and Mrs. Sansone's ALA class experienced a taste of tea, British style. The class is studying the Tea Act and Boston Tea Party.
