Attention BRMS Families involved in Band or Choir:
Ms. Brockman and Ms. Lancor will be hosting a Band and Choir Informational Night on Monday, August 25 in the BRMS Auditorium at 5:30pm (TONIGHT!). We are asking that at least one responsible adult from each music family come to the meeting. This is especially important if your student is brand new to our music department. Students are highly encouraged to attend as well!
At this meeting we will be going over attendance and grading policies, as well upcoming events and auditions available to our students.
While this is not a required event, we have noticed in the last few years that there has been some confusion as to what students are required to do as part of the music ensembles at BRMS. We feel like this will help everyone be on the same page and give you a chance to ask us any questions you may have.
7th/8th Grade Symphonic Band Students & 5th-8th Choir Students: Morning bus routes and times will given out at this meeting. A digital copy will also be sent out.

🚲 Build-A-Bike Event with GSF – A Huge Success! 🚲 We’re excited to share some amazing moments from our Build-A-Bike event hosted by GSF! Our students had a blast learning how to assemble their very own bikes—and the best part? They got to take them home to enjoy! A huge thank you to GSF for giving our kids this incredible hands-on experience. It was a fun and meaningful day filled with learning, teamwork, and smiles all around! We also want to give special thanks to: 🍽 Asha for providing delicious food for everyone 🎨 Mrs. Livingston for organizing arts, crafts, and beautiful decorations to help students customize their bikes 🙌 Megan Radtke and Mindy Ryan for taking time out of their Saturday to come out and support our students! Thank you all for helping make this event truly unforgettable! Check out some of the highlights below! 📸✨ #BuildABike #GSF #CCSD180 #CommunitySupport #StudentSuccess #WeAre180Strong

We had a wonderful year end celebration to honor the 5th grade girls for earning their Bronze Award and for reflecting on all of the fun things that both the 5th and 6th grade troops did this year.
We will start Girl Scouts again in September. I'll reach out to parents in July to see if your daughter wants to continue in Girl Scouts next year.
