Last night, the 7th & 8th grade Symphonic Band attended the annual Hinsdale South High School step-up night. Students performed two songs with other feeder middle schools & the high school marching band, had time to bond with their sections and learn more about band in high school.

Thank you to Kay McKeen from SCARCE who recently donated some repaired instruments to our band program! We also had a nice visit from Vince DeMaio who is working at the Illinois State Senate office.
Our band students are looking forward to having some newer instruments in their hands and ready to practice for our December Band concert!

6th Grade Steam completed the tallest tower challenge. Students were given 30 sheets of paper and a roll or tape to build the tallest tower and have it hold a food can for 60 seconds.
