AMJ 3rd and 4th Graders enjoyed viewing the eclipse!
Good afternoon CCSD180 families. On Monday, April 8th there will be a total solar eclipse. It's a once-in-a-lifetime event, so we're going to make the most of it. 3rd-8th graders will have the opportunity to view the eclipse outside. If you DO NOT want your 3rd-8th grade student to view the eclipse outside, please complete the following Google Form to opt-out of this experience. We're hopeful that most parents will not complete this form so their student can view the eclipse since the next opportunity to view a total solar eclipse in Illinois won't be until September 14th, 2099!

Congratulations to the winners of our Winter Reading Program! We had almost 600 entries from students who read books from December through February. Thank you to all of the students who participated and the teachers who helped make the Winter Reading Program a huge success!

Last week Pre-K finished our long-term study on Boxes. Students made a paper plan first of what they wanted to make and then finished their projects with a real box.
Spring is in the air!! Last week pre-k picked produce from our garden to wash and taste. The carrots were voted the best!
