What a beautiful day it was Wednesday for the First Grade field trip to Pilcher Park Nature Center. Students enjoyed going on a nature walk while looking for worms and bugs under logs. They even found some deer and raccoon tracks.

First graders learned about snakes, Michaelangelo the Box Turtle, and Sky-the Red Tail Hawk. They were able to pet a guinea pig, feel vibrations like a snake, and pet a snake as well. Such a fun field trip at Pilcher Park Nature Center.

This week 1st Graders enjoyed a Field Trip to Pilcher Park Nature Center. They learned how maple syrup is made, tasted sap from a tree and enjoyed a pancake breakfast with maple syrup.
